Submission of contributions

Authors are encouraged to submit:

Oral Presentations:

submit an extended abstract (max 2 A4 pages).
Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and acceptance or rejection will be communicated to authors.
All submissions which are not selected will automatically be considered for posters presentation.

Posters:

submit an abstract (max 1 A4 pages).
Abstracts will be reviewed by relevance only and acceptance or rejection will be communicated to authors.

Position papers:

submit a short abstract specifying research interests and issues to be debated during the workshop.

All abstract must be submitted both in PDF and either in MS Word or LaTex. Abstracts should be written in English. Text should be single spaced with 3.5 cm from the left margin and 2.5 cm from other margins and justified. Please use 12-point Times New Roman font. Name of the presenting author should be underlined.

ABSTRACT PREPARATION GUIDELINES


Papers

The Proceedings of the The Second Saint-Petersburg International Conference on NanoBiotechnologies (NanoBio'08) will be published in the Volume of AIP Conference Proceedings in early 2009.

Please submit your original manuscript (3 hard copies) and electronic files to Program Committee during the Workshop. Deadline is June 18, 2008. The manuscripts (3 hard copies) should be prepared according Instruction for Authors. The Instruction could be found at http://proceedings.aip.org/proceedings/authors.jsp. Format is 6 x 9 inch. Color will be included in the online version but does not include in printing version.

As part of this responsibility, the Volume Editor should also make reasonable effort to ensure that the proceedings papers comply with the ethical standards as described at http://www.aip.org/pubservs/ethics.html.

Proceedings Volume: 6 pages for CONTRIBUTED POSTER articles, 6-10 pages for CONTRIBUTED ORAL articles and 10-15 pages for INVITED articles.

For Russian participants the Act of Experts Commission is required.

For all participants the Transfer of Copyright Agreement is required.

The Program Committee will review all papers, but those of invited speakers. A hard copy of all presentations should be submitted during the Conference. Deadline is June 18, 2008.

The publication is free of payment. Additional payment for receiving 1 hard copy of Proceedings book is 50 Euro (1500 rubles). .
